Walmart/Sam’s Club Store Managers are responsible for the biggest assets Walmart/Sam’s Club has: their employees and their inventory.
Store Managers communicate at a high level, and must also be able to implement and manage assigned departments. With anywhere from 100 to 300 employees, managers will need to supervise and lead associates to ensure all of the responsibilities are met, all while monitoring daily operations.
The starting pay for the Store Manager role ranges from $12.97 to $44.27 per hour depending on location.
Store Managers are responsible for communicating with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates) regarding the daily operations of the business. Managers also become experts in identifying associates, customer, and/or supplier concerns and arriving at a resolution. In addition to managing people, Managers are also responsible for maintaining and tracking inventory in assigned department/store/club.
The ideal Store Manager has had previous management experience.
These positions are typically FULL TIME.
