Freight Handlers are critical to Walmart/Sam’s Club’s operations. They work in the warehouse to constantly manage incoming freight and ensure items are available to be stocked on store shelves.
Freight Handlers not only receive incoming freight, they also perform quality and integrity checks to make sure that all items are received as ordered and arrive with packaging in-tact.
Freight Handlers have a starting pay ranging between $10.75 to $16.42 an hour depending on location.
Freight Handlers typically remain in the back of the house, load and unload trucks, and work together with a team to meet a common goal. Maintaining a certain level of processing efficiency is also a main focus.
The job requires you to keep a fast pace, positive attitude, safe working environment, and constantly remember that customer/member satisfaction is the highest priority.
These positions can be FULL or PART TIME.
