Position Summary:
Responsible for the sales and servicing of all Bank products and services.  Work with the operations and sales team to achieve personal goals in the areas of deposit growth, business relationship growth, and consumer relationship growth.  Provide operational support and exceptional customer service while maintain essential controls and safeguards.  Responsible for conducting teller transactions in an accurate and timely manner. Ensures efficient day to day operations of branch transactions. Ensures bank policies and procedures are followed.

Primary Functions:
  • Opens accounts and services customers
  • Assists existing customers with questions or concerns
  • Resolve escalated customer complaints/issues promptly and effectively.
  • Provides quality customer service
  • Assist in training personnel
  • Perform Teller and Lead Teller duties, as necessary
  • Maintains ongoing aggressive, sound, program of business development to meet objectives.
  • Maintain personal accountability in relation to the team and branch goals
  • Collaborate with manager and team members for the branch sales goals
  • Follow up calls to new account customers to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Participates in local community affairs and supports local activities
  • Maintains checks on physical property and equipment; ensures observance of established security procedures.
  • Prepares various operating reports as directed.
  • Evaluates established procedures and recommends changes.
  • Familiar and knowledgeable with Bank BSA policies and procedures
·         Opens and closes branch, familiar with branch security procedures
  • Performs other tasks requested by supervisor as they relate to the Bank and its functions.
 
Requirements for position:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Account Services or Universal Banking experience
  • Prior Teller experience preferred
  • Good sales skills with the ability to develop business
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Knowledge of, and the ability to use current technology proficiently, including a personal computer, keyboard and mouse, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and other technology based tools
  • Good organizational skills, a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management and the ability to work independently in a team environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality and professionalism
