MONITOR CENTER LAB SUPERVISOR - San Francisco, CA

Position Summary
The Supervisor of the Monitoring Center leads, supervises, coaches, and motivates a team comprised of technicians and Patient Service Liaisons to ensure the clients of the Company have the information they need to provide quality care and quality customer service to their patients.


Position Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the work of the monitoring personnel engaged in performing calls and rhythm interpretations, including evaluating work performed and handling any procedural and technical problems
  • Assist with audits, scheduling and training of staff members
  • Participate in the development of new protocols and guidelines needed to run the monitoring center
  • Communicate in a professional and courteous manner with co-workers, patients, practices, sales force and other personnel as necessary to explain procedures, clarify orders and communicate status
  • Demonstrate decision-making abilities in all aspects of performance
  • Outbound calls to patients, practices, sales support and regional managers to obtain missing or incomplete registration information
  • Verify with practice on early termination of study and extension of studies
  • Correspond with other departments to ensure that practice information is entered in Paceart.
  • Correct patient demographic information
  • Anticipate staffing level needs and develop succession plans
  • Ensure routine maintenance is performed, problems corrected, and systems in place to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for staff
  • Counsel employees in an appropriate manner
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Position Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or EKG Certificate preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year supervisory or leadership role experience in a related clinical environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and teach 
  • Flexible and self-starter
  • A strong Team player
  • Good organizational, planning, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Must thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • Ability to work rotating hours which may include evenings & weekends
  • Certificate of completion from an approved EKG/ECG course
  • CCT Certified, or recently applied.
 
Working Environment/ Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting for extended periods of time will be required
  • Standing, walking and light lifting periodically required
  • Use of hands repetitively to type, handle, and operate standard office equipment will be required
  • Employee will work under typical office conditions
  • All employees must pass drug test, and must have valid proof of eligibility to work in the USA.
