Human Resource – Recruiting Specialist

- Serving as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges and industry associations
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files
- Files documents into appropriate employee files
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Prepares new-employee files
- Handles new employee onboarding
- Assist with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures
- Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions
- Backup for submitting payroll on a weekly basis
- Administers access cards and locker assigning at time of hire or termination
- All other duties assigned
Hours & Classification:
The Human Resource Generalist will work Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm and be classified as a non-exempt employee.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree, preferred
- 1-2 years’ experience in HR or related field
- Demonstrated solid working knowledge of Microsoft Applications, including Word & Excel
- Ability to multi-task and possess excellent follow up skills
- Excellent problem-solving techniques
- Effective communication skills both oral and verbal
- Superior organizational skills
- Bilingual is a plus
